Vintage '54 Rhythm Model - In 1954, Fender� made some changes in the Telecaster� lead pickup. Smaller diameter magnets were used and the center pole pieces extended closer to the strings. The result was a strong, clear response to high notes -- a bright and biting sound. The STL-1 duplicates this vintage model in every exacting detail. Use this pickup together with the STR-1 rhythm model to complete the improvement to your guitar's sound.
